“My name is Nicole Eddie and my journey began in 2005 when I enrolled in a bead class to learn how to create bracelets. During this process, my passion for creating jewelry grew, along with my thirst and desire to fabricate my own metal designs. I took metalsmithing classes for 2 years at Fritz and Friends in Franklin, Michigan.
My favorite technique is anything that adds texture, color, or a combination of both to metal. This passion has evolved into creating classic and unique metal designs, using various combinations of sterling silver, copper, brass, steel, gold, texture and color. My studio is my sanctuary where I find peace and joy when I create.
When I'm not creating metal art I work in IT as an Analyst. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and traveling...traveling...traveling. :)
My work is currently for sale at the Detroit Artists Market and the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, and can be view on my website www.jjluxemetals.com and on Instagram @jjluxemetals. I have been a member of the Michigan Silversmith Guild for a little over 3 years.”
