In this two-day workshop, individuals will receive instruction and have the opportunity to practice six different stone settings, with Jiro Masuda at Detroit Country Day School.

Introductory/Intermediate CAD Workshop with Michael Nashef

In this 2-day workshop participants will be introduced to the basics of Rhino software and how to articulate their designs in 3D. Michael will provide introductory and intermediate commands, as well as, techniques and applications for the use of Rhino as a creative studio for jewelry design and product design.

Pack your lunch for each day. Materials that students will need to bring are a USB drive, a notepad and pen, and a measuring caliber (digital caliber preferred), or ruler. Laptops are not required, however encouraged to bring. (PC or MAC is fine). All participants should have basic good computer skills to be registered for this class, examples of that, saving files, copying files, organizing their folder and files, renaming, and such basic operations.
